What is Meet Other People and Cook (MOPAC)?
MOPAC is the online cooking club for those looking to make new connections! Dive into a flavorful journey as you prepare delicious meals using cookbooks and recipes authored by food experts, chefs, foodies and mixologists.
How does MOPAC work?
Members cook tasty meals at live online cooking events. Members can then meet up IRL (in real life).
Whole Community Online Events
Activities at our online events are spontaneous! Talks and discussion topics are chosen by participants at the time of the event to create a unique experience each time. Politics, entertainment, finance, and media are some of the topics that are robustly discussed!
Affinity Groups
Affinity groups have 4 to 6 individuals which meet every other month to cook online together. These groups are peer led. We form affinity groups based on the shared interests of our members.
FYI's
- Members are responsible for purchasing their supplies for virtual events. We provide links to purchase ingredients on Instacart.
Logistics
- Monthly online affinity group events last between 45 and 60 minutes.
